The commentary for each sentence has three parts: 註, 案, 附
The text of the Taishang ganying pian[頁128-129] is divided into ten chapters, but this division of chapters is not applied in the later commentaries.
Compared to the Taishang baofa in the Zangwai daoshu 太上寶筏圖說 – E319, this version is more brief, missing some prefaces, and not divided into volumes according to 孝弟忠信禮義廉恥.
