The postface in the fifth fascicle (diwuce 第五冊) introduced the background of this edition. It says that Wu Yunguang 吳雲廣 started the reprinting, who invited Li Guangyu 李廣譽 to copy the illustrations and He Shuren 何樹仁, Shi Wenpu 史文圃 to copy the text. The reprinting was interrupted for several months and Hao Guangan 郝廣安 continued and finished it.
