Su shi te kan 素食特刊 (Vegetarian Special Issue) was a short lived periodical that aimed to promote vegetarianism in hopes of influencing the Chinese public to eat more compassionately.
It was both edited and published by Sanle Agricultural Products Co. Ltd. founded by Rong Baiyun (榮柏雲).
There is no fixed column for the magazine, instead it published various speeches, theories, and comments on vegetarianism, as well as recipes. The cover contains some short sayings by local celebrities supporting vegetarianism "if you can bear the hardship of eating vegetables, you can do anything," "the virtue of loving life," "benefiting all the world," "the way to health," as well as the lay Buddhist Feng Zikai's (豐子愷) cartoons and inscriptions, etc.
