- The preface 混元教弘揚中華經序 is a general preface for three scriptures, which are 弘陽苦功悟道經, 弘陽嘆世經 and 混元弘陽臨凡飄高經.
- The book 混元弘陽仏如来無極飄高祖臨凡宝巻 - WUL37 and 混元弘陽飄高祖臨凡經 - O47 are the same edition, but one page is printed twice in 混元弘陽飄高祖臨凡經 - O47. This book (J43) and 混元弘陽臨凡飄高經 - H49 are based on another master copy (底本). Some text is marked in 混元弘陽臨凡飄高經 - H49, but not here in J43.
