According to the title page: 省城學院前聚賢堂藏版. An anonymous 1833 preface was written in the library of the salt bureau in Guangdong. The colophon gives further information: The woodblocks for the 陰隲文圖注 were once stored in Ningbo 寧波府. This edition was reprinted in Guangdong (Canton) by the 積善堂 in 1833. At the time of printing, the woodblocks had been stored in the character-engraving workshop (刻字店) of the 聚賢堂 , adjacent to and on the east side （東間壁) of the 學院衙門 , in 粵省. The colophon further states that anyone wishing to have copies printed to distribute could either pay 8 fen and 5 li of fine silver for the cost of paper and binding, or else provide the materials for printing themselves.

註疏 Commentary

2 juan (juan 上 numbered 9ab + 71ab, juan 下 numbered 68ab + 8ab). 96 black and white woodcut illustrations (always combined with text on the same page) in the first juan. 90 black and white woodcut illustrations in second juan.

The text has a commentary (注釋) by Yan Zheng 顏正 （zi 廷表) from 雲間 (e.g. Songjiangfu 松江府 in Jiangsu) [1426-1480] and explicative images were provided by Huang Zhengyuan 黃正元 (zi 太一) from Fujian (閔中) [military jinshi 1713]. The re-engraving (重刻) of the woodblocks was done by Zhou Bing 周炳 (zi 虎文?) from Wuxi 無錫 (Jiangsu).

In the annex 續附應驗良方, the various recipes are said to have been transmitted (傳) by: 休南洪川汪德徵先生，淮揚程聖如先生，休南許芝英兄，歙南王 via a modest gentleman (以謙先生), 休南洪川汪裕川先生，休南龍津黃惠蒼翁，浙紹尹衍慶翁，休邑嶺南張 via Old Man Ning (以寧翁)，休邑程廣勤先生，淮陰陳慎儒先生，金陵甘德潤堂，休邑畢載明先生, 燕翼堂穆
