- This edition is incomplete, it starts from the second volum (亨卷)
- 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 1 - WUL and 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL are copies of the same text from different periods. The present edition and 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL are the same editions. But in 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL, there are hand-written notes, which is not seen in the present edition. Moreover, there is a postface and a list of the contributors in this edition, which are not included in 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL. The others are different editions.
- 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15 and 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - J35 are the same edition. The differences are: 1. In 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15, the text "忠直真烈護國降魔……專講論皇天聖道, 放" is missing. Second, 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15 has no stele and pictures at the end of the book.
