- This edition is incomplete; it starts from the second volume (亨卷). It is the same edition with 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 1 - WUL, 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL and 關帝伏魔寶卷註解 - GDZ16. The others are different editions.
- 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 1 - WUL and 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL are copies of the same text from different periods. 關帝伏魔寶卷註解 - GDZ16 and 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL are the same editions. But in 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL, there are hand-written notes, which is not seen in 關帝伏魔寶卷註解 - GDZ16. Moreover, there is a postface and a list of the contributors in 關帝伏魔寶卷註解 - GDZ16, which are not included in 護国佑民伏魔宝巻 2 - WUL.
- 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15 and 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - J35 are the same edition. The differences are: 1. In 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15, the text "忠直真烈護國降魔……專講論皇天聖道, 放" is missing. Second, 護國佑民伏魔寶卷 - GDZ15 has no stele and pictures at the end of the book.
