This issue is incomplete. A woman called Han 韓 loses some jewellery, which is picked up by a man called Zou Guozhen 鄒國珍. Guozhen gives the jewellery to his parents, who are very happy and want to use it to replace some money. Mrs Han's father-in-law, Yu Yuyin 俞玉雲, sees the jewellery and suspects that his father-in-law is having an affair with Guozhen. Mrs Han, who is bothered by mice, buys some poison and puts it in food to kill the mice. The food is eaten by her husband, who dies instantly. Han's father-in-law accuses her of murdering her husband. Mrs Han is tortured and dies. Her ghost goes to Judge Bao 包 to defend herself and is resurrected. The story ends here. | |||
