This magazine contained the works of Ouyang Jian 歐陽漸, Lu Cheng 呂澂, Jing Changji 景昌極, Wang Enyang 王恩洋, and others at the Institute. Issue one was published in 1923. The magazine was then reorganized, and a new "issue 1" was published the following year. In reality, this second "issue 1" contained all of the material from the first "issue 1" with a few additional essays. Issue 2 was published in 1925, and issue 3 came out in 1926. Issue 4, the last issue, was a combined issue for 1927 and 1928. The publication ceased after this issue, owing mainly to disruptions caused by the Northern Expedition.[1] All four issues are reprinted in MFQ Vols. 8-10.
