註疏 Commentary

Authorship

This text includes material that significantly overlaps with materials in Yu Zhi’s corpus, including Pan Gong baojuan, which itself includes a recommendation that its audience seek out this text as well for moral edification. Sawada Mizuho also remarked that he suspected it was written by the same person as Pan Gong baojuan. [1]. Given that Yu Zhi is now widely considered to have authored Pan Gong[2], it seems likely that he wrote this text as well.

Edition specific information

This facsimile edition is missing at least one page at the end. An earlier edition (printed 1881) ends on page 52a.
