*The date of the preface "桃園注釋明聖經原序" contains an error. The date given in the book is 光緒十一年戊子. However, the year of 光緒十一年 was not the year 戊子, but 乙酉.
* [[關聖帝君明聖經註解 - H138]], [[明聖真經注釋 - GDZ27]], [[關帝明聖經注解 - GDZ25]], [[關帝明聖經注解 - GDZ26]], [[關帝明聖真經注解 - GDZ40]], [[關聖帝君明聖真經附注解 - GDZ44]], [[關聖帝君明聖經注解 - GDZ49]] and the present version are different editions.
*[[關帝明聖經注解 - GDZ25]] and [[明聖經註解 - R1]] are the same edition. But there are still differences. First, there are two title pages in [[明聖經註解 - R1]], but only one in [[關帝明聖經注解 - GDZ25]]. Second, there is a line on the title page of [[關帝明聖經注解 - GDZ25]] that reads "上海掃葉山房發兌"; it doesn't appear in [[明聖經註解 - R1]].
