註疏 Commentary
This is a spirit written text about sexual morality. The location of the spirit-writing given in the preface is Hangao 漢皋 (Hankou, present-day Wuhan). The editor Fujinzi 復進子 or Jindaoren 進道人 of Mount Jingai 金蓋山 recorded the quotations revealed by Guan Tianfu 官天福 from Hangao, about whom we don’t have more information. It records the detailed process of the spirit writing of poetry and essays, including the questions and the answers. Guan Tianfu told people about prohibition of debauchery by his personal experience. He also mentioned the situation and punishment in hell.
