Qizhen tianxian baozhuan is a four-fascicle (juan) novel about the experiences of the Seven Perfected 七真, revealed by Emperor Fuyou 孚佑帝君 (Lüzu) at the Double Dragon Temple in Beigao, Beijing 京都北皋雙龍寺 (present-day Beigao cun 北皋村, Chaoyang District 朝陽區, Beijing 北京市).

Qizhen tianxian baozhuan 七真天仙寶傳 is a novel about the experiences of the Qizhen 七真 (Seven Perfected), the seven disciples of Wang Chongyang 王重陽 (1113-1170), and the early Daoist priests of the Quanzhen school 全真派, as they cultivate to become immortals. It is said to be a work of spirit writing, revealed by Emperor Fuyou 孚佑帝君 (Lüzu) at the Double Dragon Temple in Beigao, Beijing 京都北皋雙龍寺 (present-day Beigao cun 北皋村, Chaoyang District 朝陽區, Beijing 北京市).
Qin Guoshuai 秦國帥 studied its version and content in detail, and compared it with the other Qizhen legends. From 1821 to 1926, more than twenty editions were published, and the edition in Shandong shiyi was published by Yangzhen xiangyuan 養眞仙苑 in 1911.
Although it uses the structure of the long novel divided into chapters 章回體小說, the contents are interspersed with a large number of rhymes suitable for singing, with the characteristics of baojuan.
This novel has a variety of elements of the popular sects, and has been published by the Way of Former Heaven 先天道 and the Yiguandao 一貫道. It begins with the introduction of a famous goddess of the sect, the Wuji laomu 無極老母, and combines the story of Wang Chongyang's conversion of his disciples to establish a sect with the story of the salvation of the Wuji laomu, and uses the voices of Wang Chongyang and the Qizhen to describe some methods of practice that are not exactly belonging to the Quanzhen school.
