- This manuscript is quite partial, missing 品4-6 in the middle, cutting off abruptly at the end, and missing the Baniu baozan 八牛寶讚 promised on the cover.
- 佛說家譜寶卷 - L98 and the present edition are the same edition. In 佛說家譜寶卷 - L98 there is the Baniu baozan 八牛寶讚 promised on the cover.
- The seventh section in 家譜寶卷 - J26 and this edition are the same, but the ninth section of each is different. Both texts are incomplete, so it is uncertain whether they are from the same text.
