The book's title given in the preface is 彌勒佛說地藏十王寶卷. In the middle of each page, the title is 十王卷.

The first scroll woodblocks were originally collected in 北京朝陽門黨小庵, Then it was moved into 長橋清瑞庵. The second scroll was printed by 杭州瑪瑙經房. The appendix essay was written on 嘉慶四年 (1799) 端陽前五日, in 北京仁壽寺 by 華陽.
出版年 Publication Date(s)
According to the final pages of the first and second scrolls, this book was reprinted in 光緒三十年 (1904). The appendix essay was published in 光緒二十五年 (1899) （see P94).

- The publication places of the first scroll and the second scroll are different.
- The appendix's publication date is different from the main text.
- 十王寶卷 - H68, 十王卷 - H171 and the present edition have different contents. But they are all about the ten kings of the netherworld. The whole title of 十王寶卷 - H68 is "Taishan dongyue shiwang baojuan" 泰山東嶽十王寶卷, and the whole title of 十王卷 - H171 is "Guansheng dijun shiwang juan" 關聖帝君十王卷.
