A litany of repentance centered on Nanji changsheng dadi 南極長生大帝, one of the main gods of the Shenxiao 神霄 Daoist ritual tradition. It was revealed in 1793 at Nanchao 南巢 (i.e. Donglinshan 東林山, Huzhou 湖州 prefecture, Zhejiang province) by spirit-writing.
