The cover has Zhong Lüyue as the editor of this edition: 仲呂月重刊. at the end: 新鎸版存峰木禾東登村. This litany is structured around the seventeen blessings from one parents (seven for the father, ten for the mother) which all humans have to repay. Hence the title: 太上真一報恩行道十七種懺悔科儀. It invokes Zhenwu 真武 (Xuantian shangdi 玄天上帝) but is different from the other scriptures and litanies on filial piety reveled by Zhenwu.
