Zaojun 竈君 (the stove god or the kitchen god), also known as Zaoshen 竈神, Zao Wangye 竈王爺, is the most important of a plethora of Chinese domestic gods that protect the hearth and family. This is a collection about the belief in the Zaojun, divided into three parts. The first part includes scriptures, penances 懺, methods of worship and calendar, and morality tracts. The second part is the Qian 竈君籤, which includes the poems (seven-word stanzas) and the different situations (家宅，疾病，官事，墳墓，婚姻，進人口，產育，進貨，脫貨，交易，求財，失物). The third part is the prescriptions (竈君仙方), with examples.
