Yuding jinke jiyao is a long morality book in the form of a divine law code that discusses the moral rules for people of all social identities, and it is divided into three parts: 誅, 賞, 宥. Yuding jinke lizhu jiyao is the first.

Yuding jinke jiyao 玉定金科輯要 (Compilation of the golden rules, by order of the Jade Emperor), simply called Jinke jiyao, is a great moral book of divine law code that discusses the moral rules for people of all social identities.
It was revealed by Emperor Wenchang 文昌帝君 (Zitong dijun 梓潼帝君) in 1856, in Liling 醴陵, Hunan Province. It was edited into a book after three years. At the beginning of the volume there is a preface by Emperor Wenchang in 1858, and a memorial to the throne 奏折 from Li Hongzhang 李鴻章 (1823-1901), a famous official of the Qing Dynasty, presenting this book to the emperor (Yau Chi-on 游子安 said that this actually just uses Li Hongzhang's name.)
This book is a code of sacred law, which aims to uphold traditional values, punish sins and praise goodness. It centers on the eight virtues 八德: filial piety 孝, brotherliness 悌, loyalty 忠, trustworthiness 信, manner 禮, justice 義, sincerity 廉, and honor 恥, with particular emphasis on loyalty and filial piety. Yau Chi-on said that it is not only the grand finale of the morality book on the divine judgment in the Qing Dynasty but also the first of the creation of morality books of eight virtues books popular in the early years of the Republic of China.
This book is divided into three parts: punishment 誅, reward 賞, and pardon 宥, each of which consists of 10 fascicle (juan) (plus another first fascicle and another last fascicle), for a total of 36 fascicles. Each fascicle discusses a moral theme, and under each moral theme, it is further classified according to the social status of people, into eight categories: general 統, slave 奴, employee 雇, artisans and craftsmen 工, merchant 商, farmer 農, scholar 士, and official 官. Later, women 閨範 and technical specialists 雜技 were added, making a total of ten fascicles (juan).
The edition of Sandong shiyi is a reprint of 金科流通處 in Beijing in 1926.
Yuding jinke lizhu jiyao 玉定金科例誅輯要 is the first part. It discusses the punishment of immoral activities. The "Fanli" 凡例 contrasts the divine law 金科 with the law of the real world 陽法. It also lists in detail the ways of punishment, including the retribution that will befall the sinner himself, as well as the harm to future generations. The various sins of people of all social identities can be found in the catalog.
