- 百花臺寶卷 - J308 and the present edition are about the same story. But the eras of the two are different. 百花臺寶卷 - J308 is set during the reign of Xiaozong emperor of the Song （Songxiaozong 宋孝宗 r.1162-1189), and in this edition, the story is set during the reign of Zhengde 正德 emperor of the Ming (r.1505-1521).
