(KA) This copy lacks a title page, which means there is no clear publication date for this entry. Internally, on page 1b of the main text, the story begins saying that it is set in 民國四年 (1915), so the date of publication clearly postdates this. This copy begins with a table of contents (目錄) that includes 30 named chapters (回). The 回 are not specifically labeled as such within the text itself, although varations of the titles given to the 30回 are used as headings (with some half-column width commentary text) to mark off each section. For a text that is only 21 folio pages in length, 30 subdivisions is a surprising number, and those who study this text more closely than I have in my cursory glance to add more to this entry are likely to discover that some of these sections may have drawn from other extant works.
