註疏 Commentary

We don't have much information about the author, Mingshan zi 明善子.

This text reflects the unity of three religions, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism. The author explains Daoist terminology and thought with elements of Confucianism.

The Xueyong jie is the explanations of Daxue 大學 (Great Learning) and Zhongyong 中庸 (Doctrine of the Mean), the two famous Confucian classics.
