註疏 Commentary
Mount Jizu 雞足山, located in Dali, Yunnan Province 雲南大理, is a famous Buddhist sacred mountain. Jizu shan zhi 雞足山志 is a ten-fascicle (juan) gazetteer about Mount Jizu, edited by Fan Chengxun 范承勳 (1641-1714) in 1692, who served as the Governor of Yunnan.
In 1691, after visiting Mount Jizu, he donated money to build the Tianyi ge 天一閣 and compiled a new gazetteer based on the Jizu shan zhi 雞足山志 of Dacuo heshang 大錯和尚 in 1660. Compared with the edition of Harvard-Yenching and Fu Ssu-nien 傅斯年 Library, the text in the Sandong shiyi doesn’t have the preface 吳門同學．弟陸翼拜題, and twelve poems in the 10th fascicle (juan), but added a fascicle of 藝文續.
