This is a reprint collection of the first four installments of Quanjie lu 勸戒錄 (Record of Exhortations and Admonitions). In this 8-volume collection, each installment is two volumes long with its own title page and table of contents at the beginning of each installment. All title pages have the same date: 光緒庚辰 (1880), and all volumes credit the same individual for leading this reproduction, therefore they are treated as a single edition in this entry.

Each installment of 勸戒錄 was collected and produced by 梁恭辰 (1814-1887) - the first four in 1843-1848 originally. 頼昌期 is credited as the reprinter on the first body page of each 卷 division within the text, as well as in the second preface in Vol 1. 頼昌期 wrote the first preface but as it is missing a page due to a binding error, key information about his motivations and process are not accessible in this specific copy of this edition.
