The title is abbreviated as 苦功, as seen in the main text. This book is a subsection of the "五部六冊-雍正七年合校本”, therefore on the cover page there is one line says"雍正七年合校本".It is better to look at the five scriptures of the "五部六冊-雍正七年合校本” as a whole.

On page 153, there are two hand-copying dates, one is the date when the original text was copied:雍正七年嵗次已酉陽月穀旦", the other is a the re-copying date, which is"昭和八年嵗次癸酉菊月”. But the whole collection "五部六冊-雍正七年合校本”, including this book, is a photocopy, with supplementary texts added later. The book does not show the copy time.

Although it is a manuscript version, there are lines that were clearly added later, with a different type of writing, and they are not handwriting. They are usually seen alongside obscure texts as a correction. Meanwhile, some text is marked.
There are many editions of this book, about which 范純武 elaborates in "中國近代民間宗教經卷文獻提要初編結案報告".
