註疏 Commentary
The author, Kong Zhenxuan 孔貞瑄, lived in the 17th century, was the sixty-third generation descendant of Confucius. After visiting Mount Tai in 1673, he wrote this book, describing the scenery and ancient ruins and recording local legends and tales in more than 50 short articles. The version of this book is from the "Shuoling", a series of books edited by Wang Wan 汪琬 (1624-1691).
